Not coming back.
The view was great, the service was great, and we used and needed the elevator. The noise from the road was terrible. For that reason, we will not be returning.

Daniel, Thank you for making such an honest review. We are sorry the road noise will stop you from coming back in the future. I do know there is a plan in place to update the windows to new energy efficient window with better sound deadening. Unfortunately if you want to be on the water side on east bay in Traverse City you have to deal with 31, which is a main road to town and most of the desirable properties are on this road. Jamie GM

Great vacation rental

Beautiful view
At first glance this unit looked good. Upon further time passing, the bed was miserably uncomfortable and the toilet was so small, it felt like it was made for a child. I love the complex but will not stay in 306 again.

Not as nice as before
We have been coming for over ten years. It is something we look forward to every summer. Great location, friendly staff and cute little condos. However, for as expensive as they are we were quite disappointed this year. We stayed in room 304- which was not what we booked but the front desk clerk switched our rooms and after double checking with him he assured us that was the room - although in all of our confirmations is said 306. We went in to unpack and four lightbulbs were burnt out, the radiator was coming out of the wall upstairs. After discovering those things we noticed our clock battery was gone, the door handle to the back deck LITERALLY fell off in my hand and the shower head upstairs was coming out of the wall. This is completely unacceptable. And after telling the staff that these things were wrong we were not offered a discount. Whomever owns 304 really needs to start updating or these reviews will come fast and furious from other vacationers. I will say that the lightbulbs were replaced and the handle fixed but that should have never happened to begin with. It felt like we were at a Motel 8 as opposed to what we have experienced in previous years. Please consider what guests actually see and the amount they pay and please have your owners update - this is imperative.

We understand your frustration and hope you will return in the future. Though I do not specifically remember the scenario, I am certain my staff tried their best to remedy the situation. I agree with you that this condo does not meet the standard of todays leisure travelers. Please realize we will continue to try to persuade ownership to update their units to keep up with the market and our demand. Great Up North Stay
We had a wonderful stay at North Shore Inn. Our condo was a perfect fit for my family of four. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities we needed. I appreciated silly things like paper towel and garbage bags being provided. The beach was wonderful and we loved having towels and chairs provided. The big waterside yard allowed for fantastic games of catch and an "olympic" obstacle course. We also loved that we had two other condos where our family was staying allowing us so much time together. Thank you and we can't wait to return!

Convenient to everything
Close to downtown and the perfect jumping off point to surrounding areas. The unit was clean, the grounds were well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Plenty of chairs to use in the beach area. We enjoyed watching the wildlife: the seagulls, ducks with their babies, the geese, the swans.They were there but not obtrusive. . Shallow, but sandy swimming area, perfect for little ones to romp. The unit itself was very clean. Some of the common areas are smaller, but you’re going to be outside more than in. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and the main bedroom was spacious and tranquil. All in all a nice place to stay. They were finishing the renovations on the pool when we were there, but that area looked like it was going to be a pleasant place to utilize when all completed. We would definitely stay here again.

Decent
Condo was in great location. Fairly clean. Blinds really need updated as most were taped together. A lot of light let in at night due to poor quality of blinds. Microwave stopped working. Overall it was not a bad place but could use some TLC.

We are encouraging ownership to make improvements to the condo units and like with anything else, its a process and time. We pride ourselves on making sure the guests stay is a positive one. I was pleased with the property overall. However, there was a problem with the garbage disposal and a link in the kitchen sink. The property management team was responsive and fixed the garbage disposal, but I was concerned that the unit was not checked out ahead of time to make sure that it was operational.
