Lake Get Away
Everything was wonderful with our stay. The location, the property, and the staff. The only drawback was the size of the shower stall in the condo. It is too small for a normal size person. A king size bed would make a nice improvement.

Regular Visitor to Beautiful Newport
Excellent condo with super views. Have stayed in same condo development before. Disappointed when management would not enable us to check in one hour early on basis of back to back rentals although they had 6 hours to clean between rentals. Our group had been traveling had been traveling for 16 1/2 hours and wanted to freshen up before attending a graduation at Oregon State.

Great place to stay!
Love the view from the balcony. The beach is beautiful and the staff is great! The condo we stayed in could use a little TLC. That is the reason I gave four stars instead of five.

Good Location & View, but Needs Updating
We had a nice weekend stay at the North Shore Inn. The view is great and while the exterior, grounds and pool are nice and recently redone, the interior of our unit was in need of renovation - old, dirty carpet, beat up walls and doors and ceiling stains. the walls are also very "thin" - heard everything our neighbors said and did, including showers and flushing toilets - loud enough to wake us in our sleep! We were on the second floor - recommend a third floor unit to help cut down on the noise. Bedroom is also at the front (street) side of the hotel, so again with the noise of the road and people walking to their rooms. We picked a weekend with a group coming home at 2:30am to the unit above us and we were awake for over an hour while they walked around, talked, yelled, showered, etc, etc. Not sure we'd stay here again. Too many other options in the area with similar amenities.

We are sorry you were not completely satisfied with your stay. We took over about a year and 1/2 ago and have some amazing improvements. With it being a 40+ yr old building we do struggle with the thin walls and noise. As far as interior improvements, we have been bumping the owners with suggestions on how to make things much better. Nice place a little dated
The place was clean inside and out. Great View! Perfect for a couple's getaway. The bed is soft. The water pressure is great in the shower.

Outdoor noise is really heard from the bedroom. The condo has an old smell like maybe it was smoked in the past.
A couple of things to maybe look at for the owner:
The floor in the bedroom close to the window droops down and is very creaky.
The carpet in the entrance is a bit stained. I am sure it was clean but gave a feeling of needing to wear slippers around.
The couch and gray chair are stiff and not very comfortable.

Erin, Thank your for taking the time to make an honest review of the condo. We do encourage ownership to continue to update the units and these things are noted. We took over the property management side in January and have noticed excitement from the ownership to update the units. We have now incorporated 3d virtual tours for each unit on the website. This allows guests to look through the units and decide which unit would be fit their needs. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway
We visited TC for our first anniversary and were very satisfied with the location and pace of North Shore Inn. Loved the view of the bay and private beach, very cozy and quiet for the time of year we visited. Would consider returning again.

MASA Annual Conference
The accommodations were pristine and the location to the conference I was attending was very convenient. The condo offered every amenity I needed and I enjoyed my stay.

Clean no smell so happy with view felt like we had a home to come back to. Only thing that
could make it better if there was no carpet not bad but wood or tile would seem to be more easier to clean but probably cold in winters in michigan.

Great beach view
What a great place!!! We had an excellent view of the water, and a beautiful private beach. The room met our needs, and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower might be tight for some. Overall, great value for the water views, and beach access.

Lovely place to stay
Did an impromptu stay for one night as we were doing the state circle tour. Our room was on the second floor , had a balcony overlooking the lake/bay. Sandy beach was clean and shallow for wading in the gentle waves. The room was clean and was one of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip.
